Emma has been great with the Christmas tree this year. She hasn't bothered the ornaments or really even messed with the tree!
The presents have been the challenge this year. She has looked at these wrapped boxes long enough, "Can we please open just 1?"
This past week Emma has rearranged the gifts under the tree almost daily. She even opened one up while I was in the shower yesterday!
This is so exciting! For Emma, it is only 1 more night, night until we can open our gifts!(We use night, nights to count down to things lately, she seems to really understand better that way.)

Maddie would like to join Emma on opening a present. We put their presents from us under the tree and they were so excited. However, this morning while I was cooking breakfast and Marc and Makinley were still asleep she opened a couple of Makinley's gifts.
