HULA GIRL

Emma is finally wearing her original Hawaiian clothing that Alan, Sheree and Hudson sent her for Christmas.
Alan is Jason's cousin who is currently stationed at a military base in Hawaii! Sheree and Hudson are his wife and child!
This will probably become her new favorite dress for a couple of days at least. She doesn't want to take it off, even to go downstairs and walk the dog in freezing temperatures!! (I do at least make her put on a coat and wear pants with it!)

WE LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU! THANKS FOR THE GIFT!

EMMA AND HER MAKE-UP

I snuck in this morning and captured a picture of Emma applying her make-up. I am amazed at how fascinated she is with things like this! She works so hard to make sure everything is just perfect! THIS IS THE FINISHED PRODUCT!!

ANOTHER DRESS IN OUR COLLECTION

Emma is playing in her new "wedding dress" that Mimi bought her last week while in town. Emma has wanted a foo-foo dress as I call them, so Mimi took her shopping in one of the Mexican stores downtown. This is the dress and shoes that Emma picked out! Too bad she doesn't need to be a flower girl any time soon!
She uses this as her new princess attire!!

SLEEPING BEAUTIES!

Jason quietly snapped this picture the other night before we went to bed.
Emma and Lucy play so hard together during the day, and sleep so hard together at night!!
Our bed is a little crowded now with the addition of a little pug who thinks she needs as much room as a human!!

MIMI AND HER GRANDKIDS

Emma and I had the opportunity last week to visit back home while Jason was away on business! We enjoyed staying with Mimi and Papa!! Hunter, Tanya and Mimac visited with us on the nights that we were there! We were able to go to Hunter's basketball game on Thursday night. His team lost, but we at least got to watch him in action!
WE HAD A GREAT TIME GUYS! CAN'T WAIT UNTIL NEXT TIME!!!
Mimi is enjoying having both of her grandchildren in the house together again!

NANNA, EMMA AND LUCY

While home last week, we were able to spend quite a bit of time with Nanna! She kept Emma one day for me while I visited with my dear friend Erin, and then we spent the morning with her at Nonna's house the next day! We had a great morning and lunch with Nanna, Nonna, Uncle Phillip, Chris and Ivory!
It was so good to see all of you!

EMMA AND JILLIAN

While home last week, Emma and I had the chance to visit with Sunny and Jillian! The girls ran, played and giggled, while Sunny and I watched and talked. We had a great time visiting with them, too bad that it was just for a short period of time.
Thanks for the picture Sunny! (I swiped it from your blog since I didn't have my camera that night)! WE MISS YOU GUYS!

EMMA'S BOO-BOO

Last week when we had such wonderful weather, Emma and the boys downstairs were playing outside, when Emma fell and splattered the sidewalk. She tore her knee up pretty bad. She was then pitiful and couldn't walk, so Jason fixed her some crutches (golf clubs) to help her get around for the next little bit.

SPRING FEVER

This January has been unseasonably warm, with many days of temperatures in the low 70's. We are loving it! We all love spending time outdoors. We have been going to the park, the playground, and just playing outside our apartment.
Jason would love for Emma to learn how to play golf. He is starting now teaching her the right moves. He bought her a small starter club the other night and it is just her size! She actually enjoys this, especially when she finally hits the ball.

EMMA'S FAVORITE DRESS

I have stated earlier in the blog that Emma's new craze is that she wants to wear dresses, most all of the time. She has wanted a fancy dress since this began, and we finally found a cheap one the other day. She loves this dress, even to the point of sleeping in it the 1st night that she wore it.

FUTURE CHEERLEADER

We had the opportunity to go to the men's basketball game at the University yesterday. They handed out these shakers as we came in the door. Emma actually enjoyed the game, but she didn't really like the screaming and clapping. She said all that noise hurt her ears. She was really fascinated by the cheerleaders while they were doing their stunts.
Once we returned home, she wanted to be a "cheeweader"!!
She jumped and shook those shakers for at least an hour before bedtime last night.
As far as the dress, Emma's new fashion desire is dresses. She wants to wear them all the time. She goes through her closet 2 or 3 times daily looking for just the right dress.
For those of you looking for another ballplayer in the family, I'm not so sure that Emma will be the one! We all may get to experience a whole new array of activities with her!!!

OH SO EXCITED!!!

Emma received 2 packages in the mail today and she was so excited! She got some new lipstick, some candy, and a coloring book. Mimi also sent the purse back that we left at home during Christmas. It was filled with goodies!
"Oh, my goodness!!", that's all Emma could say as she opened her packages.
Thank you, Mimi, Papa, Tanya, Jason and Hunter for making Emma's day!!!
She loves everything!

OUR POOR SASSY

This past Friday we took Sassy for some surgery! We had her front claws taken out, and also had her spayed! We had been wanting to do this for a while, but when we got the dog, we knew the claws had to come out! We decided to kill 2 birds with 1 stone while we had her at the vet!
Sassy is so pitiful right now! Those bandages drive her crazy.
Emma is doing a great job of watching after Sassy! We are keeping her in our room right now so that Lucy can't bother her. Emma stays in there with her quite a bit. We have even watched her feeding Sassy one morsel at a time. It is really sweet!
Right now Emma is only concerned with feeding herself!

WOULD ANYONE LIKE SOME TEA?

For Christmas, Emma received a new silver tea party set from Aunt Barbara and Uncle Tommy! She is loving having tea parties with a real tea set!!
Thank you Tommy and Barbara for this great gift!
Emma and Nanna enjoying tea together on Sunday afternoon!
Most of the time Emma likes to be the "server girl", but sometimes she wants us to serve her!
By the way, we are really having tea here. We are beyond the days of pretend tea!

NANNA AND POP COME TO TOWN

Nanna and Pop came over to visit this past weekend!
Emma and Pop taking a break together!
After a long day of shopping and showing Nanna and Pop the town, Emma was worn out!
She enjoyed sitting with Nanna and watching a late night movie!
Nanna and Pop are our 1st guests that we haven't taken to the big playground. It rained the whole time they were here so we had to stay inside and play!
THANKS FOR THE VISIT GUYS, WE ENJOYED IT!!
