MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND

Nanna and Pop came over to visit with us this past weekend! We spent Saturday shopping at the Bass Pro Shops and Discover Mills Mall! Then on Sunday, we hit the pool wide open!! Emma enjoyed getting to swim with someone other than me! They left on Sunday evening.
On Memorial Day, Jason was OFF FROM WORK!!! HALLELUJAH! We spent the day golfing, resting and swimming! It was a great day together!!!

CADILLAC

Emma was so excited when we got back home and her new Cadillac was waiting for her!!!
She couldn't wait for Jason to get it put together completely before she hopped in!
This is the neatest thing! It goes really fast for a child's toy, and it even has a REAL radio!!!

EMMA IS NOW 4 YEARS OLD!!

I can't believe that my baby girl is now 4 years old! We came to Alabama to visit and have a party for her! The next few posts are pictures from the party that we had on Saturday, May 19th!

THANKS FOR THE GIFTS

Emma was so excited as she opened her gifts at the party!!! She got so many wonderful things! Thanks to everyone!!! Emma is really enjoying everything that she received!!

FAMILY AND FRIENDS

We are so blessed to have such wonderful, loving families and friends! It was so great to see everyone at Emma's birthday party! I know she was thrilled to get to play with her Alabama friends! You are all dear to our hearts!! WE LOVE YOU and MISS YOU!!

HAPPY 4TH BIRTHDAY EMMA

This huge slide was a hit at Emma's birthday party! I can probably say that most of the kids were completely worn out after a few hours playing on this big thing!! There were probably some of the older folks that were tired also!!

EMMA LOVES HER FAMILY

At this age, it is so hard to keep Emma still to pose for pictures so I just do my best to capture what I can.
Emma and Aunt Tanya
Emma and Papa Terry and little Chester passed out by Papa's leg
Nanna, Pop and Emma
She is sharing one of her tales with them, I'm sure!!

EMMA AND LIGHTNING

Emma enjoyed riding Nanna and Pop's horse, Lightning, while we were home last week!! She has such a love for horses! She is still taking riding lessons, but these horses haven't been ridden in such a long time that there was NO WAY that we were going to turn her loose on one of them!!
I bet Pop walked her around their yard for at least an hour!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PART 1

Aunt Tanya and Hunter couldn't wait until Emma's birthday party to give her their gifts. We ate dinner with them the first night we were home, and they let her open her presents then. It really worked out well because we were able to go ahead and blow up the Dora bed, and she absolutely loves it!!!

MOTHERS DAY LUNCH AT PRESCHOOL

Last week, I had the privilege of having lunch with Emma at her school. They hosted a Mother's Day lunch for us mom's and our children. Emma and I took our sack lunches and our blanket and had a wonderful time together out on the lawn of her school! After lunch, the children sang us a song and then we went inside and planted a flower together. It was so much fun!!
Emma really enjoyed her lunch and part of mine as well!!
Emma's friend Sommer and her mom
The kids were a little shy when it came to singing for us, but they did such a wonderful job!!
The song was this:
We love mothers, we love mothers,
Yes we do, yes we do,
Mothers are for hugging, mothers are for loving,
We love you, Yes we do!!!

EMMA'S BIG GIRL BIKE

LOOK AT OUR BIG GIRL GO!!!!
Mimi and Papa got Emma a new bicycle for her birthday! They took her shopping on Saturday while they were here and let her ride the bikes and pick out the one that she liked best. She was a little nervous about a big girl bike at first, but she rides it very well. She still has to use the training wheels, but at least her knees don't hit the handle bars when she peddles.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMY

We had a great time celebrating my birthday this past
weekend. My parents were able to come over and spend time with us, which was great! One of my precious neighbors made me this wonderful strawberry cake!!
Emma enjoyed helping me make a wish and blow out my candles!! I think she liked licking the icing off of the candles even more!! (She is so ready for her birthday)

MIMI AND PAPA VISIT

Mimi and Papa came over this past weekend and we had a great time! Emma was so excited that she waited up until midnight on Friday night for them to get here!
We had a fun filled weekend!! Thanks for the visit, Mimi and Papa! We enjoyed it!!
